No. Very few products on the market are (sadly, even some that are marketed as "all natural"). We're all about honesty and transparency, not trendy marketing. So we've provided you with a full list of ingredients for each of our products. We have eliminated most of the harsh chemicals and synthetics.

Yes, we use a phthalate-free fragrant oil in all of our products.
It should be noted that we personally picked this scent out of hundreds of options, and loved it so much that we wore it as perfume! During our initial R&D phase, we did a test market with a variety of different scents for our products, and our chosen one was the winner by majority vote. To this day, the scent of our products is one of the many compliments we receive!
We hope you love the smell of our products as much as most of our customers have already. However, as scent is such a personal matter we recommend not shopping from our store if you’re particularly sensitive to scents as we cannot take back opened products. More on our Returns Policy here.

Please note: our products are not designed to add more curl to your hair; they will only enhance your own natural hair pattern. So if you have naturally wavy hair, go for our 'Wavy' formula. If your hair has a natural inclination to curl, the wavy will bring that out.

LUS was created for naturally curly hair, but many customers with permed hair have also tried the products and reported great results. Since product testing was done exclusively on naturally curly hair, we can’t guarantee results on permed hair.
We apologize to all of our straight-haired sisters out there, but this one is a hard NO. The products are designed for people who have naturally curly hair and they will not make your hair curly; they will only enhance your own natural pattern.

At LUS Brands, we put consumer safety above everything else. All of our products are manufactured in a GMP-compliant and FDA-registered laboratory in Canada, and we adhere to strict safety and storage guidelines.
Once a product has left our facilities and has been opened/used, bacterial contamination becomes a serious concern. We take matters of hygiene and safety very seriously and, for this reason, we cannot accept opened products.

It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure that the proper shipping address is entered correctly before completing the purchase. Please double check before placing your order. We wish the process were error-free, but we know that orders do go missing sometimes!
First, please confirm that the delivery address was entered correctly and wait 24 hours to ensure your package wasn't prematurely marked as delivered. Next, check with your neighbors and/or building management to see if they received your package by mistake.
If your package is being delivered to an area that is at risk for theft, we recommend contacting the carrier ahead of time. Provide your tracking number and request a package pick-up rather than a package delivery.
